The Friends of the Blanding Library is a registered non-profit organization of volunteers. Its purpose is to create awareness of library services, to raise funds for library programs and activities, and to purchase special objects not covered in the regular budget.

Beginning in 2024, annual dues for Friends membership are:

$20 for Students and Seniors
$30 for a Household
$60 for Good Friends
$100 for Business Promoters
$250 for Business Game Changers
