Annual Scholarship.

The Annual Rehoboth Antiquarian Society Scholarship provides up to $1,000 to help fund post-secondary education related to museum or library studies.

Applications are due June 20, 2025.

Who can apply?

Students accepted by or enrolled in a post-high school program.

Students planning to major in some field related to museum or library studies, such as: museum sciences, library sciences, history, archaeology, anthropology, conservation, restoration, preservation, etc. (Applications for programs other than traditional academic programs will be considered on a case-by-case basis.)

Students who live in Rehoboth or surrounding communities, or have a significant connection to the area.

Complete your application, including gathering two references and completing the two essay responses listed in the application form.

Submit all application materials by Friday, June 20, 2025 to info@rehobothantiquarian.org.

In-person interviews will be scheduled for the final week of June. (Please contact the Scholarship Committee if this might be a hardship. The Committee will do its best to accommodate you.)

All applicants will be informed of the Scholarship Committee’s decision by August 31, 2025.

Things to know.

The funds will be applied to the second semester of the 2025–2026 academic year. (This is a one-time payment and will not be repeated.)

Scholarship winners are responsible for contacting the RAS Scholarship Committee when the second semester bill has been received. They must then forward a copy of the first semester transcript and second semester bill.

Scholarship funds will be sent directly either to the academic or vocational institution, or to the student, at the request of the student with final consideration and approval by the Board.
